How To Create A New Listing

With Auctiva's Multi-Channel 1-Page Lister, you can save time by reducing the amount of effort you have to put in when listing new product(s) to multiple channels such as eBay and Amazon. This tutorial will show you how to create a new listing in Auctiva and post it to multiple channels at the same time.

Step 1: Go to the Multichannel 1-Page Lister

To create a new listing via Auctiva and post it to eBay and/or Amazon, hover over the "Products" menu and click on the "Add A New Product" button (Figure 1).

Step 2: Search for the product you're selling

Auctiva can prefill some of the item details for you, reducing the amount of effort you need to put in while creating a new listing. Simply search for the product you want to create a listing for by typing in the item's title, key word, ASIN or GTIN (UPC, EAN or ISBN) (Figure 2 A). Simply click on the product to prefill the listing information available (Figure 2 B).

Step 3: Activate the marketplaces you want to post the listing to

On the left-hand side of the Auctiva lister page, activate the toggles of the channels you want to post the product to (Figure 3). Doing this will give you visual queues showing you the information each marketplace requires before the listing can be posted (Figure 3.1).

Step 4: Fill out the required product information

Use the visual queues as guidance and fill out the listing information. Once you've filled out all of the required product information, the red "x"s will turn into green checkmarks (Figure 4), indicating you can now post the product.

Step 5: Post the product

Once you've filled out the product information, make sure the marketplaces you want to post the listing to have the toggle set to "Activate". Then click the "Submit & Update" button to post the listing. The listing generally takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to show up on eBay. For Amazon, it may take up to 15 minutes for it to show up in your Seller Central account.
