About Us

Headquartered in Chico, CA, with a second office in San Jose, Auctiva was founded in 1998 by Jeff Schlicht to help expedite the eBay listing process.

The first version of Auctiva desktop software was called Auctiva Poster, which helped cut the time of posting items in half. Once small businesses expressed interest, Schlicht established an engineering team. In the spring of 2000, Auctiva acquired eBud, the leading application in auction management at the time.

In order to reach the entire eBay market worldwide, Auctiva changed from desktop software to a Web-based auction management environment. The first phase of this new version was released to the public on June 23, 2005.

With the rapid growth of online activity and online shopping becoming the new normal, sellers increasingly looked into expanding their reach by offering products across multiple platforms. To meet this demand, Auctiva integrated with Amazon, providing a robust multi-channel selling platform that empowers sellers to list products more efficiently, save costs, and boost sales.

Auctiva is continually adding features to its suite of products that make the eBay listing process easier, faster and most certainly better!
