Yesterday was September 11, 2007; a day of memorial for those who lost their lives during the attack of September 11, 2001. I remember exactly where and what I was doing on that day as most Americans do. At the time I did not know within one month I would be moving from East Tennessee to Western Pennsylvania. I now live about 25 miles from where Flight 93 crashed on that day. After I was moved and settled, I just had to visit the site and pay my respects to those brave Americans that died. As I was approaching the site a sense of reverence and all came over me. It was as though I was approaching holy ground, a place where human lives on this earth ended and an eternal life began. A place where God had been, was and is to this day. May their souls rest in peace and may God be with and bless their families. May we never forget their sacrifices!
  • What is a REBKEE?

    5:56 AM PST, 9/4/2007

A REBKEE is someone born and raised in the South and moved North above the Mason Dixon line. To the Southerners (Rebels) you have become a trader and now sorta sound like a Yankee. To the Northerners (Yankees) you sound like a Southerner and they have a hard time understanding you when you speak. After 6 years of living above the Mason Dixon line you begin to understand that both the North and the South are wonderful places to live and have wonderful people. Wouldn't life be boring if we were are the same!
