My own created method of covering the beading wire with silver/gold plated tubing where the bail/pendant is attached guards against normal wear and tear, extending the life of your lanyard by years and years! Normal movements of your badges, keys, against the wire will in time cut right through the wire. My method while adding to the expense of making these lovely lanyards does help to ensure that you will not have to worry about this happening to your lanyard. See photos.
