My grandfather was the first Scwhinn dealer in my city shortly after WWII. He built a very successful business at a time in our country when service was the norm and the customer was king. My father followed in his footsteps and continued in the bicycle business. My father brought other brands into the store including early US import brands like Motobecane and Fuji. As the years passed Brands like Centurion (now Diamond Back), Giant, Specialized, Trek, and others came along. I began working in the family bicycle business at very early age and learned customer service from both my father and grandfather. I was taught that the customer is king.
When I was in my 20's I opened my first bicycle store. By the time I was in my 30s I had two locations. Now in my 40's and with an online presence on eBay my selling and buying volume has increased dramatically. I can use my connections with manufacturers and suppliers that have been built over 3 generations and also the selling power of the internet to offer you the best prices.
