CONGRESSIONAL JEWELS

I have recently put up my lizard pin collection and my entire holdings of JJ (Jonette Jewelry Company) pins and earrings.The Jonette Jewelry Company made wonderful themed and figural brooches. They went out of business in 2006, so their pieces are gradually becoming more collectible. I have acquired some great vintage pieces in the last couple of weeks and will be listing them shortly.

We are in the process of building a new website at http://www.congressionaljewels.com. While there will be some inventory overlap with our eBay items, we will also be showcasing many of our items which are not available in our store on eBay. Regardless of where you shop with us (see our other selling platforms on the "related links" page of our new website), you can expect the same great customer service and fine product from us as you have always received at Congressional Jewels on eBay. At the moment, we are establishing the basic structure of the new site, so it is not yet loaded with inventory, but it will be soon.

Bought an amazing estate lot over the weekend! Putting the items up as fast as possible. If you visit us on eBay and do a newly listed sort filter, you will see a lot of them. Some great sterling and studio art free form pieces. Also several high impact statement pieces and a Miriam Haskell necklace!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to have the opportunity for the first time to present a piece of jewelry designed by Gerda Lynggaard for Monies here at Congressional Jewels. They are a pair of clip earrings with a tortoise shell look, pre-owned and used of course, as are most of our items, but still! Not too many of these turn up on the secondary market, so this is a chance to own a fine piece of Scandinavian designed jewelry. Stay tuned to our listings, as I am preparing to ratchet up my offerings of one-of-a-kind pieces (either more hard to find designers, or unique vintage sterling jewelry) over the next month or so. I am still covering every price point, so if your budget is more limited, you can still outfit yourself with jewelry from Congressional Jewels at a reasonable price. . . .

Check out Congressional Jewels this week for a whole new batch of unusual Valentine and heart-related items! Wide range of price points, with sterling silver and smaller costume pieces.

We are currently featuring two charm necklaces which, according to this month's Vanity Fair Magazine, are very much in fashion this season. One of them is a multi-strand, multi charm necklace with hearts, cupids and a locket; the second one is a very large chain with a charm holder. The charms on that one include coin replicas, hearts and a padlock all in a matte finish. Both items are unique and very striking! We have also added a section of American flag jewelry, just in time for those wonderful summer Memorial Day and Fourth of July gatherings. Earrings, a ring and several different varieties of pins fill out the selection. Recent additions to Congressional Jewels include a fantastic vintage Celebrity NY choker in gold tone metal--outsized and definitely a conversation piece. Also a fun painted wooden tropical bird necklace, which is another conversation piece for the summer wardrobe. As always, we are gradually adding cat jewelry from our huge collection of signed and unsigned pieces.
