Let’s face it - PS1 cases are getting older and more brittle and are impossible to replace without buying a game along with it. If new cases do become available they sell for $10 each or more - not cheap and will only get more expensive (and I’m willing to say that I have broken a few cases in my day) but most can be avoided if housed properly and not stacked on top of each other or mishandled. This is not purpose built to house PS1 games, but is the best I have ever found and it could have been built especially for PS1 games only. The hardest thing in finding housing for PS1 games is that most cabinets are made to only house CDs. That's fine for the CD size games but no good for the taller PS1 case. The biggest problem is that other cabinets are either too deep, where you can end up having a huge gap between your game and the back wall of the cabinet which means your games are moved around, scratched or worse may fall off shelving. The second biggest problem is that other cabinet shelves can be too short for your games meaning your games hang over the edge of your cabinet, or the length gap is too long so you have too many games without support side by side. All these are terribly risky for your beloved, favourites! Well look no further - for the perfect display case that fixes all these problems - this is the one!
