In 2005 Patrick and I began selling fashion/costume jewelry on Ebay. Patrick truly had a larger than life personality despite his ill health. Pat not only lost his legs to diabetes but addiction robbed his soul. He had overcome his illness...so many times... his health only continued to decline...his body weakend by surgery... his heart failing and slowly each breath began to be a battle. The pain meds required to recover from his ordeal .. lead his soul straight to a place where he truly didn't want to go. To weak to fight it this time .. he simply felt it was his time. Not a day goes by that I don't hear his voice.. only 8 hours before his body was found... telling me he loved me how sorry he was... and offering me anything I wanted... I simply told him I wanted him to be healthy .... he cried and only said "no more hospitals I can't fight anymore"
This man that truly brought love back to my life.. I accepted him as he was ... wheelchair bound..sick...addict or not ... he was my Patrick and now I hope I can continue with ebay in Memory of My Italian Shamrock.... I know he is watching over me~
