During the prohibition era, people still wanted their liquor and it became a national pastime to obtain it even though it was illegal. There were still nightclubs and speakeasys and peopel still obtianed their liquor. They had to come up with ways to have it in their possesion but not to be obvious about it. This is when the prohibition cabinet was devised as a way to have their liquor in their possession but not have it be too showy. This prohibition cabient looks like a medicine cabinet but was designed to hold bottles of booze.

Western Auto sold accessories to the Model A in the 1920's. This particular Western Auto car trunk was not used on a car but was purchased by a Western Auto employee and used as storage. It is still however, " USED" Measures 38" long x 18" tall x 16" wide.

Crazy quilts were made by individuals and quilting bees with a variety of materials and basically whatever was scrap material. This quilt was apparently started in 1901 and has signatures of some of the people participating in the work including: Grace Aker, Ida M Marti, Mayne Allen, Lizzie Berry, Roland Berry, Pearl Ackey, Henrietta B, Effie, Lulu Ross, Corman, etc. These crazy quilts are highly collectible and sentimental for the hours of work and the people whose family names are on them.

Pompeian Company started in Cleveland, Ohio in late 19th century and was sold to Colgate in 1927. Their massage cream was preferred by barbers and Mary Pickford was on of the 1st beauties to be featured in an ad.
