As is the case with most improvements, necessity was the mother of invention. I couldn’t find a grip extension for my small conceal carry Bodyguard 380 that fit all three fingers. I found it to be important for two reasons. One, I wanted to be as accurate as possible if I actually ever needed the firearm for self-defense. I didn’t want any innocent bystanders hurt in any scenario. Two, shooting with such short grips was painful. After 20 rounds, the cradle of my hand between the thumb and forefinger would start bleeding. Simply put, our grip extension improves accuracy while reducing pain.
