1980 Arctic Cat Woman's Large Cross Country Snow Suit - Vintage ArcticWear 538B Great looking 1980 vintage Arctic Cat Cross Country one-piece snowmobile suit in a Woman's Large. Very nice styling, similar to the Woman's 1978 Sno-Pro and 1979 Cross Country snow suits. The black shell with bright green accent panels bordered by white piping and the green knit cuffs and turtleneck collar really stands out in the crowd. The embroidered "Cat Head" logo and adjustable belt with the ARCTIC CAT SNOWMOBILES quick release "Cat Head" buckle let you know it is Genuine ARCTICWEAR. 1975-1976 vintage Arctic Cat, Glacierider snowmobiling jacket from the two-piece Glacierider snowmobile suit. Arctic Wear combines winter fashion with comfort and unsurpassed quality. The Glacierider jacket has the tough 420 Denier tight weave Nylon outer shell, the same as the EXT suits, and warm high density Dacron® 88 Polyester insulation to keep you toasty warm in sub-zero temps and wind chills. The Glacierider suits were Bordow coated to repel rain, wind, and snow. In 1973 Arctic Cat, Arctic Enterprises introduced Green into their Arctic Wear clothing line with the introduction of the Arctic Cat El Tigre' snowmobile to their line up. The El Tigre' was the first to sport the green decals. The 1973 Arctic Wear suits and jackets for the most part had a revised Cat Head buckle with a smaller center. This particular Snowrider snowmobile suit still has the 1972 style Cat Head buckle with the larger center. This men's 1979 vintage Arctic Cat, "Elite" snowmobiling jacket combines winter fashion with comfort. The "Elite" jacket has the same tough 400 Denier Nylon outer shell as many of the snowmobile suits and the same warm Dacron® Hollofil 808® Polyester insulation to keep you toasty warm. The Elite jacket has a two-way front zipper and an elasticized belt inside. There are two zippered front pockets and an inside chest patch pocket. Quality Talon zippers. The stand-up collar has a soft Orlon inlay. The different shades of green accent panels are highlighted with white piping. The white embroidered "Cat Head" on the left front bottom gives it away as being top quality ArcticWear. The sleeves have inset knit cuffs both for style and to keep the cold out. Zip-out liner for the 1993 ZR LTD snowmobile suit jacket that doubles as a lightweight jacket itself. > > > This jacket has and embroidered ZR on the left shoulder and embroidered ARCTIC CAT and racing checkerboard strip below it. The yoke and arms have iridescent ribbed checker board squares and the jacket seems to change hues depending on the lighting. Very cool! Are you a fan of Vintage Kawasaki items? Here is a Men's Extra Large (XL) Kawasaki jacket with Patriotic Red, White & Blue colors. Very shiny nylon shell coated with polyurethane and insulated with a fluffy quilted fiberfill insulation. There are double pockets in the front. The outside pockets you see have a snapped flap closure and behind those pockets are pockets that you slip into from the side. There is a cool embroidered Kawasaki patch on the right arm and a patch pocket on the left arm with a snapped flap closure. Here is a Very Unique Arctic Cat 1980s (1986) Snowmobile Suit Jacket made Exclusively for Arctic Cat by Northern Outerwear, Inc. Both the men's and women's styles were the same. This is a very Unique 'Indie' style coat that has seen very little use. It reminds me of a Band Director's uniform.
