They vary from a honey golden to a dark brown. The real beauty of Amber is the trapped air which gives off beautiful reflections from within the stone. Also some fun facts about Amber is that because about a million years ago it was pitch from a tree; therefore it will or can contain tree or leaf particles. Amber will always have air, cracky looks but will not be cracked. This is typical, expected and desired in this gem. These chips are no different and these are BEAUTIFUL! I made these for a gal that were too big for her style so I offer them to you. This is all I have of these chips so this is a One of A Kind Item. ~~~ The teardrop hoop is attached to a surgical steel, gold plated lever back ear wire that has a heart at the ear lobe area. These hang 2.5" and are about 28mm wide or just over 1". As stated, these are VERY LIGHT WEIGHT and absolutely gorgeous! ~~~ This is covered with my "extended kindness warranty" and it will not break. If it does, which it won't, but if it does, simply email me and I will send you a SASE to cover postage so you can mail it back to me and I will fix it free of charge. There is not enough silver or gold for these types of metals to have to declare their precious metal content, so these types of silvers or golds will not be stamped .925 or 14kt or anything like that! Please don't expect each Bali silver or gold plated bead or charm to be stamped. The law does not require it. One buyer thought Bali silver should be stamped and she left several negative feedbacks, even though she liked the items but because the items were not stamped, therefore ignorantly destroying a very fine seller and beader. The listings clearly stated it was Bali silver. For a small seller, even ONE negative and/or Neutral reduces your rank so much that Ebay will NOT put your items into their search engines. They will take your listing fees and list your item but no one can find it by searching "lanyards" or "charm bracelets".
