Periwinkle Blue & Khaki Tan Lanyard and/or Necklace
as inspired by "Vogue"
This beautiful blend of blond or golden tans with periwinkle blues is BEAUTIFUL! I saw this combination on a model in Vogue magazine and my goodness, it really works! You can wear this with your neutrals and/or your Levi's!
I used genuine gemstones and wood on this piece. The only man made beads used are metal and crystals. The large wavy Carnelian ovals are amazing, they really look like a piece of butterscotch or caramel candy but not sticky! They are smooth and cool to the touch. I also used blonde carnelian rounds in this piece too. The small coin beads, they are about as big as a dime, they are a Jasper that is magnificent! They have markings like I have only seen under a microscope, like lines and needles laid sideways and across each other. Some are transparent and other parts of a gem is opaque. These pictures really don't show how cool they are.
The wood rounds are amazingly smooth! I have forgotten the name of this wood so I'll just call it "pretty". They are a little spendy to use as a spacer but they are too cool and pretty not to!
The blue gems are Periwinkle Blue Chalcedony, I used faceted and smooth as well as freeform nuggets. These are enhanced with some sparkle from a few teardrop periwinkle crystals.
As with all my lanyards, this is 38", 19" from lanyard clip to clasp and boasts a Bali silver flower drop charm holder. I did attach a sweet little gemstone angel and left you room so you can display your own favorite charms.Now shouldn't we have earrings and/or a bracelet to go with this lanyard/necklace!! Wavy Carnelian Nuggets = 28L x 21W x 8thick
Carnelian, Ovals = 11 x 8, Rounds = 5mm
Jasper Coin Gems = 17x 6mm thick, flat rounds
Blue Chalcedony = Freeform nuggets 14x9x10, Faceted rounds 8mm, smooth rounds 6mm
Swarovski Crystals = 6mm SILK
Czech Crystals = 8x5mm teardrop periwinkle blue, aurora borealis
Wooden Rounds = 5mm
Angel is made from a Jasper coin, Bali silver angel wings, a Chalcedony head and a star Bali silver halo, overall size is 29x 21
Silver plated beads = 5mm crimp covers, 5mm saucers and 2mm stars
