This photo printer is self contained and comes with everything you will need to print your own photos. I am sure it works although I have not opened the box. We ended up with 2 of these and I gotta say, they are so handy to print photos at home. Slide in your memory stick and print. You can edit your photos right on the printer, crop, fix, edit, add text. If you haven't used one before and are tired of photo labs, prices and hassles, you are in for a real treat! Wonderful for scrapbookers! Compact, it is only about 9" x 7" x 6" tall and yet it prints BEAUTIFUL photos
