I don't know if it was intentional but many of the vintage snowmobile manufacturers used Patriotic colors not only on their snowmobiles but also in their clothing themes. Polaris was one of them. Many of the Polaris winter wear clothing items used the red, white, and blue theme. I have a vintage Polaris Snowmobiles winter jacket right now on eBay with a bright red shell, wide white stripes down either side, white pocket flaps, a red white and blue chevron on one shoulder, and blue knit cuffs.
