The wiring on the old Johnson outboards wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

I used to have an old Starcraft Holiday 18 foot aluminum runabout with an 85HP Johnson V-4 cylinder motor. That motor was powerful and usually very reliable. After being stranded a couple times and having issues with starting and cutting out I realized the coating on some of the wires was peeling off from age and causing shorts. I searched for a new wiring harness and ordered it at a great discount from an associate. When I finally got around to working on it I realized the harness sent to me was the wrong one. I need the harness for the electric shift motor which had 3 more wires in the main plug. It was much to late to return it, by a couple years. I no longer have the boat and motor and I certainly have no use for the wiring harness, so out it goes. CDI Electronics part number 413-9910 aftermarket wire harness replaces OEM part number 0382777 (382777) for the 1968 Johnson Evinrude V-4 4CYL 85HP motor without electric shift. I am selling for my cost, 142.50, plus the shipping and insurance. The list price I found in a couple different places is around $260. You can find it in my eBay listings here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/dkc_licdist/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= If it doesn't sell I will add it to my Auctiva Commerce store @ https://dollykamco-the-private-collection.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx where you can find pre-worn and some new items like an Arctic Cat Sponsored Tony Stewart ATV jacket, a Team Green Kawasaki 3-in-1 racing jacket, and winter wear and vintage and classic snowmobiling clothing.
