Vintage Arctic Cat Arcticwear - 1973 The EXT. Arcticwear by Arctic Cat Snowmobiles was always known to be among the finest quality in winter snowmobile clothing. 'The EXT' was Arctic Cat's top line one-piece snowmobile suit from 1971 through 1976. The EXT could be distinguished from the other fine Arcticwear one-piece suits with the colored ribbon that ran the full length of the suit from under the arm to the bottom of the leg. The 1971 and 1972 suits had the contrasting 'arctic purple' and white ribbon and the 1973 to 1976 suits had the tri-color white, green, and arctic purple ribbon. The 1971 suits had the t-clasp style belt buckle and the 1972 and 1973 had the larger 'cat head' buckle. In 1974 the smaller 'cat head' buckle was used.
