Sold this very same Transom Assembly back in February this year 2013 and shipped to Hawaii with 2 Power Trim XD Ram Cylinders using USPS Standard Parcel. Expected arrival date printed on the receipt was 1 week from the day of shipping. After 2 weeks The tracking gets updated. The transom assembly has been shipped to a Tennessee facility and is waiting to be forwarded to California, It sits in Tenneesee for a total of 5 weeks........... After 6 weeks this transom assembly arrives in California, At this point my customer no longer wants the part, is furious, and is demanding a refund. I try to contact USPS in Cali and my local PO here in an attempt to get the part expedited or returned but there is apparently nothing anyone can do. So about 8 weeks into this my customer has opened a dispute case with PayPal and has received a full refund for this part, a total of $625. After 10 Weeks the Item arrives at the Post Office in Hawaii and is sent out to the customer where it is declined and returned to the facility in Hawaii where it sits for another 3 weeks, I had called this facility the day delivery was declined to let them know about the situation but nothing is ever done to expedite the packages' return. After a total of 14 weeks the package is finally returned. The box has a gaping hole, and is worn to the point where it offers the parts inside absolutely no protection. This Transom assembly was mishandled, neglected, and shipped at such an astonishingly slow rate by the United States Post Office that I cannot even collect the insurance claim of $500 because 120 days have passed rendering my Insurance purchase useless.
