At Max’s Guitar
Store, we offer the finest selection of quality, brand name refurbished,
used and new guitars. Most guitars that we sell were sent directly from the
manufacturer to our authorized refurbishing center. The guitars are sent
there for a variety of reasons, including:
• Cosmetic flaws
• Small
repairs
• Store returns
• Overstock
• Discontinued
Most guitars we sell have no visible flaws and are un played new instruments. These we'll call mint, un played in our listings. Any guitars that do have blemishes,
we will describe the flaw or repair in the listing and include a photo if it is visible. In order to prevent false warranty claims from dealers, the back of the headstock is lightly stamped “used” or “2nd” and the original serial number has been replaced with a new one. Every guitar in our store has been thoroughly inspected, tested and set-up to perfection by certified technicians.
See it like a refurbished electronic gadget you can buy on e-bay i.e from Apple. In almost all cases you get a brandnew product that was re-packed and marked refurbished at a discounted price because the manufacturer overproduced, dealers overstocked etc. I buy all my electronics refurbished for that reason.
