These beautiful pearls are a powdery sage green with a nice luster that throws off secondary rainbow colors. These are a nice BIG pearl, average is 10mm x 7mm in size, they are top drilled. I strung them in a pattern that they will lay in alternating directions and the flat back side of the pearl will all be on the back side when in this alternating pattern. Between each pearl is a metallic dark green teal glass bead.
Please zoom the photos to see the beautiful nacre, natural waves and colors of this Abalone shell piece! I have shown you both sides of the pendant and the back sides of the pearls as well. As already stated, these pearls are smooth on one side and with natural bumps on the back/flat side. I like them both ways and the bumps give way for more reflecting colors!
You can also wear it with the pearls going in any direction they wish, a more natural look and very stylish this season.
Imagine this popping out of a tan or olive blazer! I tried it on with soft pink and it made the Abalone zing with pinks!
I strung these gorgeous pearls on super strong 0.22 jewelers wire and crimped with the unsightly crimps covered with a silver plated split bead. This is durable and classic, I have no doubt this will last you years and years.
