These Turquoise egg shaped beads are the best money can buy! They have a soft black, thin matrix through out which looks like a cracked egg. They are about 19 x 14mm, nice big and machine turned, so they all match one another beautifully.
The pendant is made by the best jewelers in the world, the Italians!!! No one does silver like them! It is stamped made in Italy and inside the bail is stamped .925 silver. This piece is big, a nice bold 30mm without the bail! The bail is another 10mm! It is a half of a heart so it lays flat but is poofy, standing out about 5mm. It is heavy duty and not at all flimsy or cheap.
Between each gemstone is a silver plated heishe bead, a solid round flat bead. It has a large lobster / ring clasp and I dangled a mini poofy heart from the clasp just for a little sass!
This would look beautiful against your skin or laid on top of a sweater with the color showing through the heart.
Imagine it on a black blouse! Or against soft pink or coral?
Stunning and one of a kind. I did not have enough eggs left over to make earrings or bracelet to match. I have been looking for more of this quality at gemshows for about 4 years and can not find any that are as nearly perfect as these! There are very few sploches or chips in these eggs! I would declare them "almost flawless".
This is a lifelong piece! The necklace is strung on .024, 49 strand cable wire
which can withstand lots of pounds of torque! It is heavy, be warned.
It will last you years and years!
