Offset Printing Errors

No one is perfect. That is especially true of our United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Although their quality control standards are extremely high, once-in-a-while and error will get through that is fabulous for the collector. Offset printing errors are considered one of the most impressive and collectable currency errors. Although, when first looking at the note you might imagine it is merely ink soaking through, it is in fact an error where the currency paper was not properly fed and an impression from the cylinder, still wet with ink, makes an incorrect imprint on the note. This month we are highlighting 3 exceptionally rare offset printing error notes: a $1, $5 and $10 note. Each is unique and would make an exceptional start to a collection of offset printed currency. We look forward to any questions you may have!
