Accepted CSV Upload Field Values

To upload a CSV file successfully, the data in the file must be in a supported format. The following table shows you the appropriate data format for each field. Fields not included in this list are not currently supported for CSV upload. (See our list of unsupported fields at the bottom of this page.) Most of the fields listed below correspond to a field in the eBay Turbo Lister File Exchange Format. This information is also included in our example file.

eBay's Turbo Lister has 2 export options, File Exchange Format and Turbo Lister Format. For the purpose of transfering information from Turbo Lister to Auctiva Listings, File Exchange Format is the better choice. Auctiva does not support files in Turbo Lister Format. In the grid below you will find the Auctiva Supported Field name, the File Exchange Field name, and a description of the Accepted Field Values.

How to use the information in this grid
  • The first column presents the field names as Auctiva displays them in the upload preview grid and the manual mapping section.
  • The second column shows the corresponding field names used by Turbo Lister. These are the column headers you would need to use for automatic field mapping. If you use them, choose the "Turbo Lister" upload option on the upload page. If you're using a file that has other headers, choose the "Other" upload option and map your columns to the fields identified in the second column. You will be able to save your mapping for future use.
  • The third column provides information about appropriate values for each field.
  • We present the list in alphabetical order (ordered by the first column) but the order of fields in your file is not important.
